07/12/21-List of a Lifetime is nominated for a critics choice award! The Critics Choice Awards are scheduled to be held on January 9th, 2022 and Shannen and her gaming partners already seem eager to participate. “We’re already texting each other to plan what we’re going to wear if we’re going to the awards ceremony,” she said. “I’m blown away and I’m just incredibly proud,” she adds, still not really believing it. If she wins a statuette, the actress already knows where she will put it. “I would probably give it to my mom. She would love it, ”she explains.

07/08/21-Shannen will be in a new movie called 'List of a Lifetime' (a.k.a 'Breast Cancer Bucket List'). It is set to premier on Lifetime on October 10th 2021 at 8PM ET/PT during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Shannen also directs special content as part of Lifetime’s Stop Breast Cancer for Life Campaign, in support of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The special content features Doherty, Hu, Kwan and Velasquez and will air throughout October on Lifetime and LMN and extended off channel through local distributor partnerships. The content will also be shared on Lifetime’s social media platforms and on Mylifetime.com. 'List of a lifetime revolves around Brenda Lee, who, when diagnosed with breast cancer, is prompted to look for the daughter she gave up for adoption decades ago to warn her she may be at risk too. After finding Talia and sharing her devastating news, Talia convinces Brenda to make a bucket list of everything she wants to do, promising to help her complete everything on the list. While keeping Brenda a secret from her adoptive parents Diana (Shannen) and Marty, Talia grows closer to the mother she never knew. Meanwhile, Brenda discovers a meaningful relationship with Talia she didn’t know she needed, and a reason to fight for her life. 08/05/21-Shannen is currently in Puerto Rico filming a new film called 'Fortress'. The film serves as the first in a trilogy and will be followed by The Fortress 2 and The Fortress 3. The story revolves around a top-secret resort for retired U.S. intelligence officers. A group of criminals led by Balzary breach the compound, hellbent on revenge on Robert forcing the retired officer and his son to save the day.

06/04/21-Shannen is currently in quarantine in Canada for a film shoot for the TV movie, 'Dying to belong'. The remake of the 1997 LifeTime classic explores how the competitive process of pledging a college sorority, with its subtly cruel rules and rituals, still manages to hold power over today’s young women. It is set to premier on Lifetime this fall. More information coming soon!
