hey i was just wondering if anybody knows how 2 stop your laptop from overheating mines is doing it.

The only thing I can suggest is turn it off for half an hour. I don't have a laptop but that's what my friend had to do with theirs!

I think it's normal unless it's very hot, then as chucklemagne said, it may have a fault.

Most of the new ones will have a cooling unit fitted. I can actually feel some cold air coming from mine!
