thanks for the article lise but i had seen it a few months ago when another member posted it but the photos arent available now so it was good that you have supplied them again. 
i have pasted the orginal news from the thread that was made on this:
A very cheerful Shannen Doherty accompanied by her mother (Rosa) and father (Tom) collects a Maserati Quattroporte sports sedan. The colour is called Nuvolari and it has a black leather interior. Sources say Shannen donated $15,000 to the Parkinson’s Foundation to test drive the Maserati for 3 months.
At the end of the period she has the option to buy the car which costs $130,000 or return the vehicle knowing that her non-refundable $15,000 will be put to good use fighting Parkinson’s Disease.

Well, she already donated $15, 000 to charity so she could test drive it, why not buy it.
