Beverly Hills, 90210 - A DVD From Your Favorite Zip Code!
Posted by David Lambert
4/06/2004

Back in December, we gave 90210 fans the heads-up that Artisan had DVD plans for this classic 80's primetime soap, before the show's rights reverted back to Paramount in 2005.

Tonight, DVDEmpire.com has the official pre-order listing up for Beverly Hills 90210 - The Pilot Episode, a 90-minute release that is scheduled to arrive very quickly, on June 15th.

There are no other details provided there as yet, other than the list price of $14.98 (and DVDEmpire's current pre-order price of just $9.74!). But stay tuned, because we'll be getting with Artisan and parent company Lion's Gate to find out everything we can about this sure-to-be-hot item!

Right now, this is only for the Pilot episode. It was also reported that they plan to release the High School Graduation. Nothing about Season Sets yet.

I know this is probably only a little thing to most people, but it gets on my nerves when it says the show was from the 80s. Even worse for me is that some of the actors don't realize when it aired and think it was the 80s as well. But, their memory on it may be because they want to forget their time there Image and move on with their career. Some of the actors may feel that they have been pigeon-holed and seen only as a 90210 character.

Sammy, you think that 15 tapes is a lot. I wonder what you'd think of mine then. I have over 50. Of course, I have all 10 seasons and some episodes on tape more than once. Image
