It didn't say where her parents were, but I think her mum was with her coming out of court as the news crew was filming people coming out of the court all day. They both hid their faces to the camera.

There was a lot of young people envolved in what happened and another shocking thing was how many young people were carrying wepons when they were cort by police. That was mentioned yesterday on a video I watched.

Yes I am not surprised anymore either. Its probably just right for people in Nottingham to carry wepons as a lot of people carry them around the country as we are always hearing about things happening with wepons on the news. Its up to you if you agree with me or not that a lot of people carry wepons.

The young girl who was arested also spent 2 nights in a cell before going to court yesterday the news said with a lot of other people who were arested.

It's all very sad how little regard for eachother humanity has.
Up here in the NE we've not had any problems.
Although we keep joking it's because there is nothing worth looting, we really are VERY lucky.
There was one incident at a small police station at 3am wednesday, but nothing further.
I went to uni in the NW, and a lot of my friends have been caught up in it.
Lots of them have been sent home from work and stuck in the lockdown areas so I've seen their live footage.
Do the rioters not realise that they are simply creating more problems with unemployment?
If you destroy shops/pubs/offices etc. there will be more people out of work.
Not to mention that it's going to hike up the taxes for the rest of us to repair everything.
And then there are all the police budget cuts...
Rioting to get back at the government does nothing but create more problems for the 'everyman'.

I hope you guys stay safe. You're all in my prayers.

Thanks. I think we are safe as nothing seems to be happening now, but it still makes you feel uneasy going to the places that had the trouble as want to go to Nottigham next week so I can go into the shops I like.

I feel a bit unsafe just thinking about it, but I think I will be fine now going as nothing has happened for the last few nights, but that shouldn't put me off going as I will go in the day and be back before the evening.

Yep. I'm the Kristine from the Prandy forum :)

I'm glad things have calmed down for you both.
I don't think they'll run on for much longer with all the high alerts everywhere.
It'll just be the odd straggling rioter who wants to tag on the end and "do their bit".
