hi guys,

two days ago my kitty faith, had a nasty fall. she was messing around on top of some xmas presi boxs and she fell off and they feel on her.

she seemed fine that night, but the last two days iv noteced that she has been limping on her back leg. and today it is really bad, i touched it and she hissed at me (she has never done that).

so this afternoon me and sophie are taking her to the vet, i hope to god she hasnt broken it.

the oparation if she has will cost around £600-£700. and i have no money at the mo because of xmas.

keep your fingers and toes crossed for me that it is just bruised.

just got back from the vet, poor faith.

she had a jab of pain killers the vet says that she has the start of athritus(sp?) in her back.

he said that the fall made it flare up a bit, but she should be ok in a day or two.

he said that when she is an old timer it will probley give her problems but she is only 3 now so she can live ok with it. if the pain comes back after a month (thats how long the pain killers last) she will have to have monthley jabs.

ps. thanks for the concern guys means a lot. xxxxx Image

Cats can get very old having athritus. Freddy is almost 16 and has it too. Only problem she has is winter-time so we learned her not to sleep on the floor. Maybe you could teach Faith the same thing. Freddy now never sleeps on the floor (most times on my spot on the couch and at night my part of the bed...but thats another story hehe)
