you poor thing, that's a tiring journey. mines was just 5 hrs in the train and i was getting fed up so i cant imagine how you felt. glad you enjoyed london and thought it was a pleasure meeting you too.

Oh my God, that's bloody awful! Americans don't know much about customer service, do they? I remember you guys at the airport, you were completely rude! See, if this happened in Israel, the whole airport would have been crashed, we don't take this sort of s*** from anyone. Israeli airports and services wouldn't dare do that to us, they'd be too scared.

Since part of this was at Heathrow, you can probably get some money out of the airline due to EU rules/regs, according to Regulation (EC) 261/2004

In case you worry that it's all for nothing, ExpressJet just got hit with a $100,000 fine for something quite similar, a few days ago:
