Philippine storm leaves 75 dead and missing

I know we have members there, if anyone has heard from them please let us know. I want to know that our friends are safe.

My thoughts are with everyone there and my deepest sympathies go out to the families of those who were killed and those who are missing. I hope all missing people are found alive and okay.

*hugs*

Thank you,guys for your concern..

my other friends and i just got home after terrible traffic and mud.,

it's 8:30pm here, we went to our friend's house, jean, to give her some clothes and food bcoz she and her mother stayed in their roof for a day just to survive the flood..all her clothes vanished in the flood.

she texted us that she haven't eaten,so this morning when we found out that the water decreases my friends and i went to her house..

Image

we just decided to walk when we saw this tremendous traffic..

Image

and last saturday, sept. 26 we had a class then in the middle of our discussion the classes were suspended bcoz our school was flooded,.

Image

we decided to stay at school bcoz the water outside is waist-deep..but my friend, jean still went home to see if her mother is OK..then the night past..we are texting her but she's not replying,.i'm so worried to death..i dont know if she reached her home or she was stocked in the traffic.

thank god, this morning she texted me and thank god she's OK! Image

i'm so scared,i thought our house will be flooded too..but luckyly we're OK...

Philippine storms

This was the most devastating storm that ever hit the Philippines. I was stranded at work and couldn't get out of the office because streets are already flooded. I think 100% of Manila where flooded. When I went home the next day, I left the office at around 7am and then arrived home at around 11am and to think that my house and office is only a 15-25 minutes drive.

This is the worse storm that I've encountered all throughout my whole life and I hope and pray that this will be the last devastating storm that we have to deal with. Sad to say, we still have one storm ahead of us - according to the weather bureau.
