I too know what it feels like to loose a beloved pet....no matter whether it's a cat dog or rat(in your case) i lost my beloved Benny at 17 years old(i was 18) and i cried for years. I still miss him to this day...he was my hero...once saved a nine year old from being knocked down....he lost his tail in the process but had he not jumped on her and pushed her out of the way she would have been hit.

My condolences go out to you and your family hunny....the pain of the loss will never leave you...but it will fade.
