I've read where Shannen has Crohn's disease...I have it myself. Is this something she speaks openly about or is she more private about it.

Just wondering.

We'd love to have another IBD advocate spreading awareness!

She's spoken of it, both on here and in a couple of interviews. She doesn't seem to either try to hide it nor make a big deal out of it.

Seems to me that either her's is a mild case, or she just refuses to show any weakness. Hard to tell with her.

As for getting her for an advocate... this probably isn't the best place to start. You might try to get in touch with her publicist.

A google search can turn up info on management and publicist.

I know she does some charitable/activist type things like with animals but she never makes a big deal out of it. One of the reasons I like her is that she tends to hide her good deeds.
