I was just watching it whilst eating my dinner. It was a re-run but I hadn't seen that episode before.
It was a clip show, I think, I saw the last five minutes. The two aliens (can't remember there names at the moment) go to the People's Choice Awards. One says to the other "There's Shannen Doherty! Didn't you have a thing with her?"
I was just like
Shannen! You mentioned her! At least they weren't as mean about her as Family Guy the two times she was mentioned!

Yeah definitely.
I watched the Family Guy episode where they mention her the other day. They take the mick out of her eyes, like there's anything wrong with them!

Yeah, I was the same. There are two episodes that take the p*** outta Shannen and one where they do it to Alyssa but Alyssa has a cameo in that one so it was harmless fun. I don't know if they informed Shannen or not.

Which episode?
Family Guy season two, episode called The Story On Page 1, and season three, episode called A Fish Out Of Water, both have a reference to Shannen in.
Family Guy season three, the episode called Mr Griffin Goes To Washington, has Alyssa in it briefly
The Simpsons one was from Season 13 called Gump Roast. It aired in 2002

they where mean about shannen on will and grace to.
