if you like this film you MUST like mallrats...? kevin smith is cool. jersey girl (non shay film but his latest offering) is quite good too....

im not trying to say its an all time great cause well its not socially acceptable enough to be an all time great and wasnt written to appeal to the wider market or become an all time great it was written to appeal to people like kevin smith, and i don't think thats the majority of america's population or the world but i could be wrong.....

However to a small audience it says alot and many, though not enough for it to have any real hollywoodesk merit eg oscars, golden globes etc etc, think, to be blunt, that the film is bloody brilliant.

anyway enough about mallrats this is about jay n silent bob and imho i didnt find the film as good as some of his previous offerings though that isnt to say it's without its merit, however i feel Kevin smith was correct in ending the jay n silent bob series on that film, im not sure he could take the characters anywhere else and not be reiterating what he's already said.

but some others including peoples on this board would have..... and did despite shay had a cameo in it. at end of the day lots of people like mallrats, myself included, and i was simply expressing my opinion and asking if others who like jay n silent bob strike back have seen and like mallrats.... thats all.
