hey i watched last nights episode on e4 but no shannen. i wished they had more scenes in the peach pit like the first series, i dont think i have seen harry wilson out of his business suit yet.

Haha I was born the year it started. I'm only 18 so I couldn't have watched it either. I got the complete Brenda years before they even announced the new series

i was at high school when the first series was aired and felt you really could relate to it. the storylines werent just based around the high school LOL and the actors especially our shannen done a lot of hard work to devlope their charecters. with the new series i cant believe people get to wear that type of clothing to school LOL. it's not convincing at all, that just never would happen here.

As a college student I relate more to the original then I do to the remake. School was nothing like that for me and I haven't long left

In some sense, it is quite relateable with the cat fights, the hard ass teachers, the boy drama etc. but I think it's quite intensified for exactly that reason, I don't think any of us went to school in Beverly Hills so then again, how could we REALLY relate? Remember back then when Shannen was considered the 'bad girl' and now what she did would have been expected of everyone nowadays. It's just a time change, really. We certainly don't wear our jeans up to our boobs anymore now do we?
