Ok, well i'm thinking about buying season 1 of Beverly Hills 90210 on dvd. I've never seen a full episode before, just clips, but it looks really good. The only things is that it costs $60. That may not seem like a lot to some of you, but for an unemployed high school student, it is. What i'm asking is do you guys think it is worth it to spend that much on it? Besides the fact that Shannen is in it, is it a good show? Your opinions would be appreciated.

I totally with you on that one. Being a student myself $60 (or £30 to me) can be alot. It's the same price here and I look at it everytime I'm in HMV or Virgin. I'm tempted to buy it just for Shannen, I've never even seen an episode. But Shannen is my fave so I'd buy anything with her in.

But I've just bought a few other Shannen DVDs so I'm lacking funds.

So, please let answer the above question for me too

hah, this reminds me of when teachers say, "if you have a question, dont' be afraid to ask because someone else is wondering the same thing." =] I saw Mallrats at the store too but it was $30, which is way overpriced for a dvd.

but anyway, yeah i just had my birthday so i have enough money to buy season 1, but i'm still not sure. Someone who has seen the show please tell us what you think. Thanks.

wow that's a pretty good price. I saw it at FYE, which tends to be overpriced to begin with, so it might be cheaper at Walmart or Target, but probably not less than $20. I was considering buying it, but i hate spending so much money on just one dvd. That's why i was thinking about getting Beverly Hills 90210. Even though its twice as expensive, its like 10 times as much content.

I know the feeling.

There is a second hand DVD store in my town and I get most of my DVDs from there. Or I get them online for a lot less than shops charge you.

Mallrats is great but I wouldn't pay $30 for it.

Hope someone answers our 90210 question though. I'll hopefully have some money soon.

Ok so i just checked the Walmart website and they have it for $40, which is so much cheaper. So i think i will most likely get it now.
