Who the real Shannen Doherty is.
Posted: Sun Sep 28, 2014 3:46 pmOn Satrurday, September 27, I attended a Nashville Predators Hockey game, not knowing that one of my heroes was across the street. I seized the moment to go across the street and was not disappointed.
In a week where my German Shepherd of 14 years passed away, and my mother will be visiting the dementia clinic at Vandebilt later this week, Shannen Doherty brought a smile to my face and a compassionate hug I usually only receive from family and close friends.
Thank you Shannen for adding a moment of joy to my week, and proving what I've known since I first saw you on Little House on the Paraire, you're an awesome actress, and a stand-up human being. My only regret is that I wish I had known ahead of time, so I could have brought my copy of Badass to be signed.
