Personally, I thought the guy was awesome

great actor, he was in "10 things I hate about you"

I have that on DVD, great movie

i thought he was great too in "10 things i hate about you". it's such a tragedy and waste. i remember about 15 yrs ago when it happened to river phonix too and he had everything to live for.

10 things I hate about you is an awesome film - I have it on DVD and watch it all the time

River Pheonix appeared in Stand By Me (I have this on video though, not DVD)

God, I loved Him. BM was nice, but overrated.... His character was fantastic though.... 10 Things I Hate About You makes me sad--- I grew up on this film and Alex Mack, so I loved it.
They said it was an overdose of sleeping pills and anxiety pills, but he was still using drugs... How stupid, what a waste.
BTW, Rob, that's a great question.
